Te Maunga Ruma
Te Maunga Ruma opened in February 2016.
Te Maunga Ruma is where Mountainside Educare all began. In 2016, this was the only room and catered for those aged from 18 months to school age. With Te Awa Ruma opening in 2023, Te Maunga Ruma is now a special space for tamariki aged 2 years and over. Our room has a ratio of 1 kaiako to 7 tamariki with a maximum of 42. Our Maunga Ruma has several indoor spaces for tamariki to play in as well as a generous outdoor playground for everyone to challenge themselves and explore.
